About us
Angela Donde
is the director of the
Stress Management Company,
a company specialising in providing stress management
workshops, counselling and consultancy to corporate and
private clients. She is a registered psychologist with a
Masters degree in Clinical Psychology, and is a
specialist in stress management.
She is a full member (MAPS) of the Australian
Psychological Society (since 1999), and is fully
registered with the Psychology Board of
Australia and AHPRA. She is approved to provide
psychological services under Medicare and with private
health funds.
Angela Donde has extensive experience as a psychologist
providing clinical psychological services and stress
management counselling in hospital, community mental health
settings, tertiary educational institutions and private
practice in Australia and overseas.
In addition to her psychological qualifications, she has
a Masters degree in Music and a Graduate Diploma in
Education from La Trobe University in Melbourne.
She has been a TAFE lecturer for over 10 years, and has
been teaching stress management, psychology and business
subjects at various TAFE’s around Melbourne.
In addition to her private practice work conducted at
various locations around Melbourne, she has been
teaching stress management to professional immigrants at NMIT (Northern Melbourne Institute of TAFE), and has
provided career coaching and counselling since 1999.
In working with clients, she provides an approach that
is strictly confidential, professional, supportive,
compassionate and creative, with the aim of empowering
and motivating clients to achieve their goals.
In her stress management work she employs a holistic,
client-centered approach using a wide range of
psychological interventions including cognitive-behavioural,
solution-focused and relaxation therapy, as well as the
more creative music and art therapy.
